Here are the credentials (the boring stuff): I am an ordained Interfaith Minister and Registered Yoga Teacher. I have a Master's Degree in Art Therapy and have worked as a counselor and teacher in different capacities and settings for 25 years. I trained extensively with Dr. Henry Grayson in energy psychology techniques — what he calls Synergetic Therapy. This includes the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, or "tapping") and variations on this energy clearing modality.
What appeals to me about all of these is the way in which we can transmute energy and thus, our experience — whether it's through yoga, art, meditation, prayer, tapping. I have always felt that it is my work to act as a guide, to point the way out of the suffering of the mind and toward the freedom of the spirit. It is a journey that I am on as well. I can show you where I have been and where I feel my inner wisdom leading me next.
I founded the Spirit of Love Interfaith Community (SoL, for short), which is a non-profit organization whose aim it is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and exploration. (That's why you will see your registration for this weekend goes to the SoL account when you use PayPal.) And in 2017, I brought to life a vision I had held during the Best Year Ever retreat in January of that year! It's "a gathering space, a spiritual wellness center, where we can host Sunday celebration services, workshops, yoga classes, healing practitioners and events." Those were my exact words before 2017's retreat, and what we now have in DuBois, Pa.
I am excited to have you join me and some of my magical, masterful friends in centering and intending for a new glorious year!

I thought it would be fun to introduce myself by trying to pick a theme or a word that would best describe my sense of self. The first thing that came to mind was “healer". Since I was a child, I've been fascinated with the idea of healing, especially the idea that we have the innate ability to heal ourselves and one another if we can just be open to the possibility.
On my winding path, starting with a BS in education, I made many stops along the way...becoming a Reiki Master and energy healer, attending natural healing school, massage therapy school, and nursing school, 15 years of working in the mental health field, lots of spiritual exploration, and now working as nurse supporting mothers and babies.
At times along the way, I wondered how I would ever find a way to merge my varied interests and skills. I know now, that together they have prepared me to humbly (and hopefully gracefully) hold others in a safe, healing space, supporting them in body, mind, and spirit as they birth their deepest truths and most vibrant selves into the world.
Though I have treated others through a blend of many different modalities over the years, at the root of each one is my intuitive connection to Spirit. I have recently been excited and amazed to receive many beautiful, guided messages from Spirit in the form of writings and teachings. I have learned, and continue to learn so much from this process and I look forward to seeing what wonderful things Spirit has in store for all of us on this retreat!
I'm so excited to join with all of you as we create that beautiful space for each other and help one another take the first steps into our Best. Year. Ever.

Margo Pfingstler, PT, Myofascial Release Specialist, Intuitive Healer and Guide
Margo will tell you that the body’s fascia is the container of our consciousness. Her bodywork opens the fascia to release the power contained there, as well as bring relief from pain, and increase mobility, flexibility and overall well being. Her intuitive guidance reveals and heals more of the underlying causes of suffering and pain.
Margo will lead us in an opening night myofascial release session to undo our daily stress and anchor us squarely in the now. She will also offer a Fascial Consciousness Awareness optional group session, and private bodywork and healing sessions throughout the weekend by appointment. Desiree Dennis, co-founder of Spirit Guidance and Healing is an international spirit medium, national spiritual workshop facilitator, and Reiki Master teacher.
As a spirit medium, Desiree has offered thousands of readings worldwide through in-person and phone sessions. She has taught Intuitive and Healing Workshops around the country in locations such as the “Joy Center” in Michigan; "Injoy Wellness Center" in Oregon; “Discovery Yoga” in Florida; "Bartlett's Loft" in Nantucket, Massachusetts; Olympia, Washington & Princeville, Hawaii.
She is also the founder of the “Spirit Guidance and Healing Center” in State College, Pennsylvania, where she conducts classes and public channelings of spirit master teachers regularly.

Terri Dennis, Past Life Regressionist, Life Coach, Intuitive and Reiki Practitioner
Terri began her spiritual studies at a young age, and was trained in Past Life Regression techniques while still in college. She has further studied and developed her skills as a Past Life Regressionist over the course of 30 years, and was certified by Dr. Brian Weiss at his professional training course at Omega Institute. She is also a certified Life Coach, Reiki practitioner, and Sound-healing specialist. She has studied intuitive development with spirit mediums, James VanPraagh and Jamie Butler, as well as Shamanism and Shape-shifting with Lynn Roberts and John Perkins.
Currently, Terri works with her daughter, Desiree, in their Spirit Guidance and Healing practice. She co-facilitates national workshops with Desiree, and leads guided meditations across the country. Terri is also the creator of KindHeart products which includes her spiritual paintings, Positive Affirmation card decks, and Kind Card decks, as well as her guided meditation CDs, “Sacred Reunions” and "Flight of the Firefly".
